SNL Season 38: Funniest Skits So Far…Part 2
ok so I didn’t post this immediately following Part 1 (which you can read here). But that’s alright. I still got it in before tonight’s episode staring J-Law and The Lumineers. By the way, have you seen the promo’s for tonight?
Looks promising!
Anyway, here were the parameters I set in place for the lists:
SNL Season 38: Funniest Skits So Far…Part 1
We are TEN episodes into SNL’s 38th SEASON and they are just about to wrap up a 5 week hiatus on Jan 19 with host Jennifer Lawrence and musical guest Lumineers. Adam Levine hosts on Jan 26 with musical guest Kendrick Lamar. You’ve got to hand it to SNL, they always try to be one step ahead of the curve with their musical guests. I’ve never heard of these guys. At least they give these guys a shot.
BREAKING: As I’m writing this, it has been confirmed that Justin Beiber, yes, the beebs, will be hosting SNL on Feb 9. Brace yourself!
Anyway, I wanted to make a list of some of their best sketches so far this season. Before I reveal my list, there were a couple restrictions in order for the skit to be eligible.

The temperature rises and falls with how we treat the contents of the glass.

5 Indispensable Books for Youth Pastors
There are literally a ton of Student Ministry books and resources available. Maybe that’s because in our profession we deal with all sorts of situations and people. With so many to choose from it can be overwhelming and confusing. Nevertheless, if your Student Ministry bookshelf could only hold 5 books, these titles should provide a well rounded scope on some of the most common issues: Read the rest of this entry
5 iPad Apps For Youth Pastors
I prefer the words Student Pastor or Student Ministry, but that has yet to catch on in the “Youth Ministry” world – I’ll save that for another post. So until then, here are my 5 MUST HAVE iPad Apps for Youth Pastors (As of June 2012):
