Xalt February Series: Relationship Status

This month at Xalt, our series is called Relationship Status – playing off the famous Facebook status. We are looking at outside pressures placed on our relationships and how they effect us personally focusing on this quote:

“If you try to find intimacy with another person before achieving a sense of identity on your own, all your relationships become an attempt to complete yourself”

Week 1 (Feb. 1) we looked at relationships in general. Week 2 (Feb. 8) we talked about being Single and the importance of having our identity in Christ. Tonight (Feb. 15) we are talking about Marriage and how we can start preparing for a healthy, biblical marriage now. And next week (Feb. 25), we will come back to our relationships and ask why It’s Complicated. Here we will talk about boundaries, purity, and the pros/cons of personal investment. God has been doing a mighty work at Xalt and has helped many students this month move past some major roadblocks in healthy relationships. May He continue to move mold us more like Him!
